PITB is currently working on e-Stamping project in collaboration with Board of Revenue and Public Banks to issue stamp papers in a short span of time using online registration and payment processes. Stamp papers are the medium to legally document property and commercial transactions. They are also a source for Board of Revenue to collect taxes in the form of stamp duties which is 3% of the transaction value. e-Stamping would be a transparent system of stamp issuance and duty collection while making the whole process convenient for citizens.
